The Rosenhill saga continues!

by Eva Centergren

Rosenhill is a very special place located on the outskirts of Stockholm, Sweden, on an island called Ekerö. Rosenhills Trädgård is an organic farm and a cider mill where you can either bring your own apples or pick them there. They produce honey; there’s a café which serves farm-fresh food cooked on location; a bar with organic beer & wine; pigs, chickens and other livestock; hammocks for swaying in, and an incredible vibe and natural surroundings. Cabins for rental…WWOOFers who volunteer for room & board, and then of course the amazing family Sillén who run Rosenhill. Lars and his beautiful yet regretfully late wife Emilia started off selling veggies in Hötorget, in central Sthlm, but eventually decided they would create something where people would come to them instead. The dream came true and many years later, Rosenhill is really paradise-like and very vibrant during the summers. Sundays is a drive-in flea market for anyone who wants to sell or buy…and there’s even a “free shop” where you can give/take things instead of dealing with money. : )

We will play at 5 pm, it’s family-friendly, single-friendly, whatever. DJ after the other acts. With Hanna Francis!

Here’s a video which gives a taste of the feeling of the Harvest Fest and the place by Félix Kjellberg-Hill (who happens to be the brain behind this very website):
